Camera case

Here's another quickie! I thought about adding some padding and a cute liner...and still might...but it's good for now :)
materials:
1skein of Caron simply soft
1button and yarn needle
4.25mm crochet hook

I just chained 20, sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each ch until end. Chain 1,turn and continue in sc until flap. I did the smallest amount of decreasing for the flap but it you want to avoid anything close to it (or button holes) you can ch2 and dc in each sc for a few rows. Sew on button about 1" down and you're set :)

Christmas Quickie

Just a few quick gifts I barely had time to make...if you don't count all the twin toddler diaper changes, nursing, and stuff, these hats took about 1.5hr a piece. Both are made with Impeccable brand super bulky yarn and a 9mm hook.

Coffeehouse cap?

Sooooo I don't know what tiny peanut headed person this is supposed to fit...but...this pattern was written for an adult but I couldn't even get it on either one if my 10month old boys heads. I may redo this again with a few tweaks to make it actually adult sized.

Arg...me change purse!

During one of the few quite nights at work I got an itch to make a lined change purse but couldn't stand the thought of using a traditionally girly lining...thanks to Michael's Crafts I found a very fitting bandana to cut up for $1 :)

Now to just add the button!

Baby sets

Made for twin boys that were due in October but made an early arrival. I just forgot to take a picture of the sets together :)

Working on it

Granted I didn't have that much posted before so no promises :-) but there is some cute stuff lined up! Now I just have to hope and pray that blogging from my phone works....

5hr blanket and new needles/hooks

So thankgod for Lionsbrand Speed Hook and Wool Ease Thick & Quick, I finished a very quick gift for our friend L. No planned pattern, just a ton of yarn and a few hours (then got spread out over a week). Basic granny square body and single chain boarder.
Since I ran out of time to take pictures the new blanket owner did it for me :-)
